Aimee Stock

Well hello there, fellow animal lovers! As a current food blogger, I wondered if I could apply my knowledge of blogging … and just think bigger. To design a fun place with lots of things to read, learn, do, shop for and share. To gather a group of like-minded people and create a global network, a community, and ultimately…a movement.

In the words of author Seth Godin, “you can’t have a tribe without a leader – and you can’t be a leader without a tribe.” So, I’m creating an army of passionate and like-minded followers who I affectionately call “Hope’s Army”. YOU are Hope’s Army and together, we can make a difference.

This site is inspired by (and dedicated to) the memory of a little black Chihuahua I named Hope back in 2011 and the group of people who banded together to try and give her the life she deserved.

I knew I wanted to try again, but how? And if that many people were willing to follow her story and help, could I do it on a bigger scale ultimately helping even more pets? is the answer to that question.

[boc_heading color=””]Mission Statement[/boc_heading]

Here’s what I believe. Every pet deserves a loving home, but this site is dedicated to rescue animals. Adopt when you can and if you aren’t able to take in a pet, there are so many other ways you can help.

Be interactive not only with this site, but other readers in the comments, on social media, bring me your ideas and when it feels appropriate, share mine.

Shop our site, take our courses and we’ll donate a portion of the proceeds to the cause of your choice. We’ll also reinvest a portion to continue growing this website and adding to our army of followers.

[boc_heading color=””]Frequently Asked Questions[/boc_heading][boc_accordion_section rounded=”yes”][boc_accordion title=”ARE YOU A 501C3?”]No, this is a privately-owned company (it’s just me) and I simply choose to give back to causes I believe in. I also wanted the ability and freedom to build on my own creative ideas to grow this site. Maximizing donations means keeping things small on the administrative end.[/boc_accordion][boc_accordion title=”HOW DO I KNOW YOU ACTUALLY DONATE TO THE CAUSES?”]

For full disclosure, a full breakdown of our accounting will be available for you at years end to view.

Eventually, we’ll be partnering with sites like and We’ve just got to get bigger to do this. For instance, requires an annual donation of $20,000 or more. So we have some work to do…

[/boc_accordion][boc_accordion title=”CAN I SUGGEST AN IDEA, PRODUCT, ARTICLE, CHARITY, ETC?”]

Yes! Absolutely, and I encourage your input. Feel free to email me at any time, for any reason: [email protected]

[/boc_accordion][boc_accordion title=”CAN I WRITE FOR PROJECT PAWS?”]

If you are interested in writing for Project PAWS, please contact me directly at: [email protected]

[/boc_accordion][boc_accordion title=”CAN YOU HELP WITH AN ANIMAL IN NEED?”]

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to directly assist with animal rescue or placement. Additionally, if you have a animal in need, please seek immediate help from your local veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic.

One of my goals for this site is to eventually have a directory, but in the meantime, please reach out locally for assistance.
